We are a Non-Profit,

100% Volunteer Organization.

For over 60 years we have worked tirelessly to raise funds for health care and health education. We operate a 100% volunteer-run thrift store at 536 Garden Street in Hoboken, NJ where we accept household and clothing donations in good condition.

Shop here for all second-hand, name-brand, designer clothes, and household items.

MISSION STATEMENT

We are called to promote and improve relationships locally as well as globally through the distribution of grants to worthy health related causes. Through the operation of an efficient Thrift Store, we aid the underprivileged, the unwell, the disabled and we endow scholarships to those who desire careers in nursing and all health sciences.

Health Scholarship Information

Since the beginning, St. Mary Advocates have been dedicated to the health of our community and our environment.

St. Mary offers an annual Health Scholarship to undergraduates who major in the health profession.

Application enrollment is open from April 1 - April 24th 2026.

In 2025, our thrift store has generated over $225,000 in donations to local & national charities and our scholarship program. On average over 85% of our donations are to local Hoboken & New Jersey non profit organizations.
