We work with a third party textile recycling company called Clothing Donation Services of NJ www.clothingdonationservices.com
They pick up any items that have not sold and re-donate to other charities and groups around the state of NJ.
They will also take our unsellable items however, there are many locations in Hoboken including bins that support the Hoboken Police Department for unsellable items. Dropping your unsellable items in these bins will save our volunteers time when sorting through donations. These unsellable items are shredded and sent overseas to be repurposed as insulation, stuffing for sofas and other items.
Did you know we receive millions of pounds of donations every year? However, not all of your generous donations sell in our store. We keep thousands upon thousands of pounds of unwanted, unsaleable merchandise out of landfills.
